What are we measuring?The percentage of Spine Center patients responding "Very Good" when asked about the ease of scheduling an appointment for services.
Why is this important?Asking patients to tell us about the experience they had when trying to access the care we provide at BIDMC is one aspect of quality and is an important measure of our performance. By surveying our patients, we can evaluate how we are meeting our patient's needs from a clinical and operational perspective. We can then make changes for the better in areas that are important to them.

What are we doing to improve?We met our goal. We believe ease of access to scheduling appointments is important for our patients and referring providers. Our call center is able to book an appointment for patients, among all of our providers at all of our locations.
